We are acutely aware that the few existing extensive old growth forests in SE Asia represent the remaining refuge for many important species of flaura and fauna. We aggressively target such forests for preservation efforts.
We are strong proponents of using bamboo for agro-forestry initiatives. Bamboo grows rapidly on land less suitable for food crops yielding nutritious shoots as well as biomass for energy, construction materials, paper, clothing and fertilizer.
